Dear Family, Friends and Colleagues, 

As another fall season approaches, so it brings another season of Fifty Two Four.  As we sit here writing out this year’s fundraising letter, we can’t help but reminisce about the prior years of this journey; all the joy, the love, the sacrifices, the friendships, and even the hardships.  

The verse, John 10:10 comes to mind “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly”. 

Being part of the Fifty Two Four ministry reminds us that abundant life is being rooted in Christ.  A life that shows up for other people, even when we don’t feel like it.  A life that has love and concern for God’s people in India, even if we may never get to meet them on this side of eternity. A life that puts one foot in front of the other, mile after mile, even when we think we can’t take one more step.  God has called us to this purpose, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, He carries us to the finish line every time.  

Fifty Two Four is entering their 19th year and has raised over 1.95 million dollars for children suffering with HIV/AIDS in India.  This has been accomplished through a group of dedicated runners and walkers who continue to show up, year after year, for the purpose to which they’ve been called.  By sharing our story with family, friends, co-workers, business partners, and sometimes even random strangers in our community -  together -  we’ve been able to provide abundant life for these kids. This organization is 100% volunteer based, which means 100% of your financial support is sent directly to India. 

Mike and I will be running our four-half marathons in just a few short weeks.  And, to add a little extra icing to the cake, Mike will finish this season with a full marathon at Idaho Running Days!

We will be praying for each of you who has shared in this journey with us and we’ll think of you during our races-especially when things get tough on the pavement!

Fiftytwo.four is a 501(c)3 community based non-profit organization. We operate solely on lots of amazing volunteers and donations. Any overhead costs (which are very minimal) are covered through designated donations of our board of directors. We are a very grassroots organization full of lots of amazing people that just simply want to use their lives to make a difference in lives of a lot of beautiful children in India that need our help. 100% of the money that we raise is sent to the organization that we support in India. Our money is specifically designated for the endless needs of HIV/AIDS orphans. It covers anything and everything pertaining to the needs of HIV/AIDS orphans but is designated each year based on where the greatest need is. Some ways that our funds have been spent in the past 17 years: medical needs, nutritious foods, education costs, medicine, building costs for new HIV/AIDS facilities/orphanages, vehicles to transport the children.
