Last year, I had the privilege of participating in 52.4 and completing four half marathons, each mile marked by purpose, prayer, and deep gratitude. I train and run to support orphaned children in India battling HIV/AIDS. Knowing that each step can make an impact far beyond myself makes every mile worth it.
I also believe deeply that many hands make light work. Being part of a team, supporting one another, showing up together, and carrying the mission collectively is what makes 52.4 so special. I am grateful to serve alongside this community and to help create an environment where every participant feels supported, equipped, and inspired.
I am asking you to partner with me to make a difference in the lives of some very precious children in India. I know that completing these runs will be challenging, but I will be running for a purpose much greater than myself, and that is my greatest motivation.
Through the generous support of friends, family, and local businesses, 52.4 has raised over $1,950,000 in the past 19 years. All race fees are paid by me, so 100% of your donation goes directly to our cause.
Thank you so much for your support as I take on this challenge. I am truly grateful!
Fiftytwo.four is a 501(c)3 community based non-profit organization. We operate solely on lots of amazing volunteers and donations. Any overhead costs (which are very minimal) are covered through designated donations of our board of directors. We are a very grassroots organization full of lots of amazing people that just simply want to use their lives to make a difference in lives of a lot of beautiful children in India that need our help. 100% of the money that we raise is sent to the organization that we support in India. Our money is specifically designated for the endless needs of HIV/AIDS orphans. It covers anything and everything pertaining to the needs of HIV/AIDS orphans but is designated each year based on where the greatest need is. Some ways that our funds have been spent in the past 17 years: medical needs, nutritious foods, education costs, medicine, building costs for new HIV/AIDS facilities/orphanages, vehicles to transport the children.
